Mark Paley is a registered pharmacist (R.Ph.) with more than three decades of experience. Mark is committed to helping his clients obtain optimal health and well-being throughout every stage of life.
As owner operator of Carnegie-Sargent’s Pharmacy Inc., Mark oversees all aspects of the pharmacy operations. Founded in 1852, Carnegie-Sargent’s Pharmacy and Health Center is really a compilation of three Pharmacies; John F. Carnegie Drugs, Sargents Drug Store and Water Tower Drug Store.
Mark recognizes the complementary relationship between nutrition, fitness, medication, self-care and optimal health. Therefore, in 1996, he created Integrated Health Care Systems Inc., a health promotion company whose staff assists clients in finding a healthier lifestyle. Providers at Integrated are chosen very carefully for their interest in developing lasting relationships. Personalized care plans employ the latest technologies to help clients accomplish individual goals.
The third element of this center is Water Tower Nursing and Home Care, established in 1997, of which Mark serves as Director and Agency Manager. Water Tower Nursing and Home Care is a team of home care providers dedicated to caring for and working with persons who want to maintain an undiminished quality of life. The objective of this care is to ensure the clients comfort, security, privacy and dignity; whether it is in the client’s home, in an assisted living environment or a health facility.
Marks’ triumvirate of companies, the For Good Health GroupSM, works hand-in-hand to provide comprehensive health care services for his clients.
In addition to his business endeavors, Mark has volunteered as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Illinois (Chicago) College of Pharmacy and an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Pharmacy in Downers Grove, Illinois. Mark is currently a Caregiver Action Network volunteer.
His professional affiliations include; the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, National Community Pharmacists Association, American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, American Pharmacists Association, National Strength and Conditioning Association, IDEA Health and Fitness Association, American College of Sports Medicine, National Wellness Institute, Home Care Association of America, and Caregiver Action Network.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He is a licensed pharmacist in Illinois, Arizona, and Nevada.
